Historical reenactments at the Open Air Museum of the First World War at 5 Torri

Don't miss a guided visit to the Open Air Museum at 5 Torri where the First World War is told by reenactors in historical uniform in the restored emplacements of the Great War.
On Sunday 12d August 60 reenactors from all over the world will stage a big recreation in the emplacements.
At 10.30 the priest Don Alessandro will celebrate a Holy Mass service in front of a mobile war altar wearing a historical uniform.
In order to recreate all aspects of this historical period, at 12:30 the reenactors will eat their lunch military rations from original mess kits from the First World War.
Furthermore you can see an original mountain gun, a machine gun and a field hospital. The exhibit is led by the medical officer Dr. Mauro Fiorentin.
From 12:00 to 13:30 at Baita Bai de Dones a group of renactors will provide interesting explanations and satisfy any curiosity concerning WW1.
